John Digweed

John Digweed helped define the genre "Progressive House" in its early days and provided Great Britain with the most successful (Big Room) sound of the nineties. Number 1 rankings in assorted dance magazines, residencies in London and Ibiza, extensive world travel, numerous compilations for Renaissance and his own label Bedrock, tours supporting David Bowie and Moby – John Digweed has been able to inspire each successive generation of clubbers. Yet throughout all of his metamorphoses, one thing remains constant: His love of ethereally swirling, cinematic soundscapes and energetic bass lines.
